Welcome!

Small, practical write-ups about Unreal Engine, C++, editor tooling, plugins, gameplay systems, and the many little discoveries that happen when learning the engine "the hard way".

Unreal Snacks is a personal technical blog focused on turning small Unreal Engine problems, experiments, and lessons learned into useful notes for other developers. Some posts are tutorials, guides, technical explanations and deep-dives (snacks), and other are simply things I wish I had found earlier in the form of simple lookup tables and short explanations (bites).

Whether you are building gameplay systems, fighting editor tooling, digging through engine source, wondering why something suddenly broke the build after doing everything "correctly", or simply just interested in learning something new about Unreal Engine, hopefully you will find something useful here.
